Tyler Johnson assists management teams, entrepreneurs, and strategic investors in executing a broad array of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and company formation transactions.

Tyler advises entrepreneurs and early-stage companies on governance, financings, and other general corporate matters. He also represents companies and investors in mergers, acquisitions, and commercial transactions, and has prior experience in private equity fund formation and complex capital markets transactions.

Representative Experience:

  • Represented a consumer packaged goods company in raising its Series B financing and securing its credit facility.
  • Represented a fishing technology company in multiple rounds of equity financing and ongoing corporate governance.
  • Represented an educational services and technology company in its sale to private equity buyers and its     follow-on acquisition of additional assets.
  • Represented a pharmaceutical startup in its Series Seed financing.
  • Represented the principal in a real estate fund reorganization, recapitalization, and joint venture.
  • Represented an early-stage biotechnology company in a Series Seed financing.
  • Represented a strategy of an international private equity firm in an acquisition of a manufacturing company.
  • Represented a domestic technology company in its sale to a strategic acquirer.

Prior to joining Feinberg Hanson in June 2022, Tyler was an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Markets group of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P., where he represented a range of early-stage through institutional clients in a diverse set of corporate transactions. Tyler has been admitted to the Virginia bar. Tyler has not been admitted to the Massachusetts bar and only practices Massachusetts law under the direct supervision of attorneys active and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
