As corporate paralegal, Emily works with private companies in corporate transactions including private equity and venture capital financings, entity formations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Emily assists attorneys with all aspects of the firm’s complex corporate finance and transactional practice, including by maintaining capitalization records, preparing stock certificates and corporate governance materials, and making requisite securities filings.

Prior to joining Feinberg Hanson, Emily worked as a research assistant with Data & Society, a data science company dedicated to studying the social implications of data-centric technologies and automation. There, she assisted Colgate University Professor of History Dan Bouk on his upcoming novel by analyzing census data and documents as primary sources to unravel the hidden lives of those counted.
