Erin represents entrepreneurs, high-growth companies, and investors in a wide range of transactions from seed round financings to later stage mergers and acquisitions. Erin’s MBA and in-house experience offer her clients a unique perspective, enabling her to provide practical business solutions.

Erin has a diverse corporate practice advising both buyers and sellers in acquisitions and both issuers and investors in equity and debt financings.  She has represented clients in deals of various sizes and levels of complexity, ranging from early stage financing rounds to multilayered M&A transactions. In addition to day-to-day corporate counseling, Erin counsels her clients on strategic investments and alliances.

A few highlights of Erin’s transactions include:

  • Uber Technology Inc. in its divestiture of its vehicle leasing business, Xchange Leasing, and portfolio of vehicles to Fair.com, a startup digital car marketplace
  • The Descartes Systems Group Inc. in its acquisition of Aljex Software and Vmail
  • Hancock Natural Resource Group in its purchase and sale of a portfolio of U.S. agricultural farmlands
  • Tivoli Audio, Inc. in its management buyout and subsequent partnership with an international investor
  • eXIthera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. through multiple rounds of capital financings and strategic collaboration transactions
  • Yesware Inc. through multiple rounds of venture capital financings and its subsequent merger with attachments.me
  • Affinova, Inc. in connection with its sale to The Nielsen Company
  • Consilience Software, Inc. in its sale to Xerox
  • Oracle Corporation, Inc. in its acquisitions of two cloud-based technologies with global operations, LiveLOOK and Maxymiser
  • Sapient Corporation in its acquisition of La Comunidad, a Latin American advertising agency
  • Agero, Inc. in the sale of its connected vehicle services division to Sirius XM Radio Inc.

Erin joined Feinberg Hanson in 2018. In addition to day-to-day corporate counseling, Erin counsels her clients on strategic investments and alliances. Prior to joining Feinberg Hanson, Erin started her career at Bingham McCutchen in Boston, which was later acquired by Morgan Lewis & Bockius. In 2015, Erin completed an in-house secondment with National Grid’s U.S. Corporate and M&A Group. Prior to graduating from law school and business school, Erin worked as an in-house law clerk in Liberty Mutual’s Corporate department. Erin has been admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
