Outside Interests

Christopher Naidus focuses his practice both on intellectual property and technology-related matters, as well as entity formation and start-up financings. He blends a unique combination of skills necessary to help start-up technology entrepreneurs be successful.

experience

Chris regularly negotiates all aspects of strategic relationships relating to a company’s technology assets, including in-bound and out-bound licensing agreements, technology development and distribution arrangements, and other strategic transactions involving the transfer of intellectual property. He also advises clients on conducting business on the Internet, including copyright and data privacy protection matters.

Chris also spends significant time helping companies with private placements and other corporate finance transactions. By concentrating his practice, he acts as a single-source advisor for both complex corporate finance and intellectual property transactions. Chris’s passion for his practice comes from a natural curiosity to fully understand a client’s business operations and goals. This in turn allows him to serve as a more efficient, responsive and creative legal advisor. He prides himself on building long-lasting and close relationships with his clients.

Representative areas in which Chris has advised clients include:

  • Developing a broad range of master services and other customer agreements for software development firms.
  • Negotiating licensing and commercial agreements for educational publishers, game developers, e-commerce companies, and mobile app creators.
  • Advising start-up companies and their founders in connection with their appearances on reality television programs.
  • Creating custom terms of use and privacy policies for clients’ websites across a broad range of industries.

Before joining Feinberg Hanson in 2012, Chris began his legal career as an associate in the Business Law Department of Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP (now Locke Lord LLP).
